What are ITAR sessions?

Several sessions taking place at SAMPE are restricted presentations governed by ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). To attend any of these sessions restricted by ITAR, attendees must bring proof of citizenship PLUS the other verification documents as shown below. All restricted session attendees (including speakers and session chairs/moderators for these sessions) MUST abide by the procedures and submittal of verification documents as noted below. Please note that only U.S. citizens and U.S. Resident Aliens can be considered for attendance at these restricted presentations.

Admission to restricted sessions and access to restricted presentations is implemented and controlled by U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Where can I get ITAR clearance at SAMPE?

Bring all necessary verification documents to the ITAR counter in the SAMPE Registration area. Your documents will be verified, and you will receive a special ITAR badge, which will have your picture on it. This badge indicates your ITAR clearance. Only individuals who have ITAR clearance from the SAMPE Registration Desk may enter an ITAR session. Please be advised that all policies and procedures MUST be followed or admittance to restricted sessions will not be permitted.
